ABOUT

Peyton Lougheed is an Oregon-based ceramic artist whose work is informed by winter, natural materials, and everyday rituals. Through Talvi, she creates hand-built ceramics that celebrate thoughtful craftsmanship, subtle variation, and the enduring beauty of objects designed for daily use.

Founded in 2025, Talvi is an extension of Peyton's studio practice and her belief that functional objects should be made with intention and enjoyed for years to

come. Every piece is built entirely by hand in small batches, allowing each one to retain the quiet character of the making process.

The shadow imagery and subtle dot motif found throughout Talvi reflect the connection between the maker and her work. The dots are inspired by the tattoos on Peyton's hands, the same hands that shape every vessel before it finds its place in someone else's home.
