Talvi began from a desire to make things that feel calm, useful, and lasting.

​

I work with stoneware, building each piece by hand in small batches. Every curve, mark, and subtle variation is part of the process. I don't try to make each piece identical-| want them to feel human.

​

I'm drawn to natural textures, quiet colors, and forms that are simple enough to live with every day without asking for attention. My inspiration comes from winter landscapes, old homes, forests, weathered wood, and the feeling of slowing down.

I hope my work becomes part of your daily routines. A favorite mug in the morning, a bowl that finds its place on your table, or a vase that holds flowers from the garden. Pieces that are used often, age well, and quietly become part of a home
